Treasure hunt ~ Indoor or Outdoor Games for Kids

 Treasure hunt is always popular party game. It can be played  Indoors or outdoors also .Whether it's too cold to play outside, a birthday party, or just an ordinary day, treasure hunts are a great, fun, and easy way to keep kids entertained. You and your kids will love this versatile game very much. My daughter loves this game very much.

Kids love finding hidden objects especially when there’s a prize at the end.

Choose Location

• For kids 2-4, have the treasure hunt inside a home which is familiar to them.
• For kids 5-8, have it inside and outside of a home.
• For kids 9-12, have it at a location such as a school or park.

Simply write  or draw pictures of your  clues on some slips of paper — Be creative. 
Place the first clue somewhere easy to find, like inside your child’s snack or pouch  or school bag.
Then leave as many clues as you like around the house, making a trail to the final clue. 
Keep in mind that though the first clue should be easy, they should increase in difficulty as the hunt goes on.
Start making clues!!!

1) Use pictures as clues. Draw photos of places they should investigate.

2) Make rhymes.

"To find your first clue, look by the glue.

(if we wanted to get kids looking for a MIRROR )

All shining and silver,
With a beautiful face,
You look into me,
And find this place. 



3) You can use riddles.

Ex.: "I am coolest place in home " (Hide this clue in or tape it on  Fridge)

If you want your teeth to shine, pick this up and spend some time. (Hide this clue by your child’s toothbrush) 

Add some color to your days! Pick these up; you’re on your way.
(Hide this clue near some crayons or sketch pens.)

4) You could also use secret codes

Example:-.kt ia tg cf hh ed nr take out all the second letters and join.

Tips:-

• Make sure you have a good prize for the end; even if the clues are fun, kids will want to know there is something at the end for them.
• Try not to make so many clues that the kids don't know where they're going and get exhausted.
• Overall, make sure the treasure hunt is fun! Try your best to be sure it is as 
• Try to keep a variety of clues. You can use different codes, rhyming clues , letter scrambles, puzzles, riddles, and codes, so you never have to have the same type of clue twice in a row.
