Fingerprint Tree

Here's a really fun fingerprint activity. This fingerprint tree is a fantastic craft to do with toddlers or preschoolers.

You will need:

construction paper ( I used white)
paints or ink pads
markers or crayons

How to make your Fingerprint Tree Craft:

The first thing is to take the light colored construction paper and let the children draw a tree trunk with the brown marker or crayon.. (Younger children may need help drawing the trunk.) Then You are going to let them use their fingerprints to make leaves. We used washable ink pads to do this, but you can also use paints.

Use green ink on the child's thumb to make as many leaves as the child wants. After that dried I added some final touches with markers. I think it turned out pretty cute.
